Vascular Lesions

The pulsed dye laser was one of the first lasers to be adopted on a mass scale by dermatologists and plastic surgeons due to the prevalence of vascular skin conditions such as Rosacea, broken capillaries, linear telangiectasia’s, spider angiomas, cherry angiomas and birth marks such as Port Wine Stains, hemangiomas, and other vascular malformations.

Vascular procedures are the most performed laser procedures in a dermatologist office and perhaps the most financially rewarding. Most vascular lesions can be treated with a single visit however some others such as birth marks will take many sessions. Some skin conditions such as Rosacea may never resolve but may be adequately managed with the use of the vascular beam laser that will suppress flair ups as well as satisfactorily fade any persisting redness of the skin.
